Where did this take place?

The Florida Keys are a string of tropical islands located off the southern coast of Florida. They are connected by a series of bridges and are a popular destination for boating, fishing, and other water-based activities. The Keys are known for their crystal-clear waters and stunning sunsets, as well as their laid-back atmosphere and abundance of seafood restaurants. Islamorada is a village in the Florida Keys, located approximately 70 miles south of Miami. It is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and rich history. Islamorada is home to several parks and preserves, including the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and the Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. It is also a popular destination for fishing, with several marinas and charter companies offering deep sea and backcountry fishing trips.

What does that mean?

Being a producer on a film involves overseeing the entire production process, from the development of the initial idea through to the final cut of the movie. The producer is responsible for securing financing for the project, assembling the cast and crew, and managing the budget and schedule. They may also be involved in making creative decisions, such as selecting the director and other key personnel, and working with them to develop the script and story. In addition to these tasks, the producer is often responsible for promoting the film and finding distribution channels to ensure that it reaches the widest possible audience. It's a demanding and challenging role, but also a rewarding one that can have a significant impact on the success of a film.

Being an assistant director (AD) on a film involves working closely with the director to manage the shooting schedule, coordinate with other departments, and ensure that the production stays on track and within budget. The AD is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on set, including managing the cast and crew, organizing rehearsals, and making sure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. They may also be responsible for scouting locations, coordinating transportation and catering, and handling other logistics. It's a demanding job that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.

Editing a documentary involves several steps, including organizing and reviewing footage, selecting the best moments and scenes, and arranging them in a logical and compelling order.  Additionally, add transitions, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the storytelling and create a cohesive final product. It can be a time-consuming process, but the end result can be a powerful and engaging documentary.
